As John said, “if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another” (1 John 4:11). Your children will love because you loved. No matter what else you do, let love—unconditional, generous, gracious love—be the most profound commitment you pursue. You love will give your children the gift of seeing God’s heart for them and the world.
